Lake County Work Injury Lawyers

If you have been hurt on the job, the system of reporting your injury and being compensated for it is stacked against you. Insurance companies play to the fact that you do not know all the details of insurance law, and they will use any minor mistake you make to deny your claim. To them, you are a number, not a person with a family to feed and bills to pay. At Hannigan & Botha, Ltd., we find this unfair and unacceptable, and we will help you fight to protect your rights and receive the compensation you deserve.

Both partners of our firm left their careers with insurance companies after seeing how injured workers were being treated. We joined forces to use our understanding of insurance company's practices against them in defense of injured workers.

Waukegan Workers' Compensation Attorneys

Following your workplace accident, you may have followed the reporting procedure to the best of your knowledge and thought that you were going to be treated fairly. When your injury becomes more complicated or you require further treatment, the insurance companies begin to balk to avoid paying you anymore or simply pay you less. You need experienced legal aid on your side before that happens. We want to help avoid any delay in the payments of your benefits or the authorization of treatment that you need.

We know the insurance company tactics, and we will fight them on your behalf to help you receive the compensation you need to cover your medical bills, as well as the lost income you might experience as a result of your injury.

We represent injured workers in cases, including:

  • Permanent and total disability
  • Head, neck, back and spine injuries
  • Repetitive lifting and motion injuries
  • Occupational disease
  • Lost wages
  • Knee injuries and meniscus tears
  • Shoulders, elbows and hands
  • Disfigurement
  • Fractures and soft tissue injuries
