Any sort of major injury can have a devastating impact on one’s life. Two men injured in a recent explosion at a plant will likely be seeking this compensation after they were injured. A contractor on site described hearing an explosion at the Olin Brass plant. Medical technicians and firefighters at the plant responded. The same witness reported seeing one man who was covered in bandages being brought out on a stretcher. That man was ultimately airlifted to a hospital with a burn treatment center.
A second victim was also transported by ambulance to an area hospital. He has since been released. Officials for the company and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration are investigating to determine the cause of the accident.
An investigation into the accident may help prevent future incidences. However, the injured men, especially the man who may require treatment at the burn center, could be facing significant financial ramifications from the accident.
